Frontline, do you use it?

I switched to Advantix plus for my dogs because I wanted the repellent effect but after her first month on it my collie had 4 ticks stuck on her. at least Frontline killed the ticks once they were on. If I'm going to put pesticides on my dog I want them to work. Disappointed in the Advantix plus.

Frontline worked great for about two years here. Then it quit working at all. I switched to Advantix for the dogs and Advantage for the cats. That seems to be the magic combination for us. I generally don't use it except during the summer.
This past winter was so mild for us that I am afraid we are in for a rotten bug summer. It never got cold enough to kill the ticks and fleas. We started having flea problems in early March. I have already pulled two ticks off myself. I hate putting pesticides on the animals, but it is better than the alternatives.
