My BO roo had the tips like these too this week. It's been in the low teens to low 20's. I looked on here and it said to use the Vaseline so I caught him up and rubbed the Vaseline all on his comb and especially on the starting to blacken tips as well as his wattles. Low and behold the next day they were back to bright red! I was amazed! Not that I didn't think it would work, I just didn't think it'd work that fast. I've been putting it on nightly just in case and even braved up and caught the BCM roo and put some on his comb. He was not nearly as happy about it as I was!

Tonight he was easier to catch though, so no harm.

If you don't have Vaseline, try anything thick like Udder Balm. It works!
