Frostbitten combs on my roosters!

I have a RIR Jersey Giant and a Barred Rock x Jersey Giant. and since it's been so cold their combs are frostbitten, the combs look kinda yellow and black in some spots. what should I do? and how do I prevent it?

Leave it and it will heal naturally! Prevent it by reducing drafts and wind outside. That does not always work. Some people say Vaseline but not sure if that works.

ok good to know thanks, I was worried for a minute. Thought there was something that they needed. also once it's spring/summer I need to do a little renovation in the coop, to stop those dart drafts lol.

Don't touch it, don't apply anything to the combs to prevent or treat it, it will make it worse.
Increase overhead ventilation in the coop, moisture needs to be let out.

at this point (well any point honestly when it comes to frostbite) there is nothing that you can do. You HAVE to increase ventilation and make sure the coop is free of drafts
