Hi to everyone.
Today I was whole day trying to find answer but no luck.

Is it possible to hatch frozen eggs, was stored at -10 or any other conditions for 30 or any days?
What is best temperature to thaw them ?
Does anybody have any literatrue about this.

I can chill eggs extremly fast as I have ultra low temperature chiller.

Please help me with this.

P.S.I know there is no reason to chill -free -thaw and incubate eggs and hatch them, but I am wondering is it possible ?

I think it is not possible, like water, when you freeze eggs the liquid inside tends to expand and crack the shell, that happened last week when my fridge went crazy and my supermarket eggs freeze and cracked.

I've was told by my science teacher in grade school, Mr. Harwood, that if an egg reaches 18%F it can hatch if the shell isn't cracked but anything 17% F or less will kill the embryo.
I've always used his advice and have experience those same results in my 40 years of hatching.
I'm no expert and never claimed to be.

Happy Hatching....
