Frozen eggs

I haven't had any frozen eggs yet, but if I did and they were cracked I would probably thaw them, scramble and cook them and feed them back to the hens, what a treat that would be for them.. The uncracked one I would treat like a regular egg...

I had one that was cracked & frozen that had gotten knocked out of the nest box. I threw it against the barn cement wall & itbounced off. I then picked it up & threw it into the deep woods.
 
Dropping the number of nest boxes in winter can help eliminate frozen eggs. Which by the way, as long as they are not cracked will look and taste the same as those that have not frozen.
Less nest boxes means the eggs are being sat on longer throughout the day.
