The Guinea pig cage is inside my house and they were outside in a dog cage

She did not die directly from cold. Feel remaining birds for weight / condition. Check feces for worms.

Also where they are I put a tarp over them at night to stop any wind from getting in

I position wind breaks so the block wind only from one direction. Usually just plywood used. Covers taken off for heavy snow events.

Get heat source back away from pen. Something else wrong and cold is only a secondary issue!


Handle sick bird and photograph. Make so bird stands on paper or some clean surface so you can see feces. Are they drinking?

Yes they are drinking

He looks a little under weight. Looks it. Face color good. You have two birds in there, too tight. Split them up.
