Frozen treats

I have learned a valuable lesson for my flock of 10 ...I have froze a(1) sandwich size container in several layers i.e. corn and water, froze it then corn and water until it was full. Thats where the lesson came in 1 container and 10 hungry girls is a bad bad plan...the picture is the aftermath of the pecking order the buff orpington is number 5 in the order...it was an extreme amount of pecking and bogarting the corn for about 20-25 minutes..NEWBIES hear this if you have 12 or less I would make 6 or more corn(treat of your frozen choice) cicles to keep the drama down...if you have more than 12...GOOD LUCK YOU ARE ON YOUR OWN LOL

Thanks! I try to avoid liquid, but put all of our chicken scraps in a freezer bag. I sprinkle them around to give them some cool treats they have to work at!

We live in south Texas and the temperatures 🌡 have been 97 plus 2 weeks now and heat indexes from 105 to 114. I wanted to get fluid and an easy tasty snack into them.
