Hi all. I'm just sneaking in here as the deadline looms - today! I have participated in block/fabric swaps in the past, but it's been a couple of years..........I think, as time goes by way too fast. I do see a couple of familiar names/faces.

I'm pondering this swap although I really shouldn't.

Anyway...........have you decided on a block yet? I would need to see the block before making a commitment. Also, since you are being frugal and using fabrics from your stash, would each block have to be exactly the same? By that I mean if we are using a particular fabric and run short, can we use another. Hope that makes sense.

I'll check back later tonight to see what block pattern you all decided on. Then, I'll let you know if I can join this swap.

Visually, I like the Abel and Cain, spool, bowties, and the Depression block, though that seems like it might be harder - ?? -


Did you decide how many blocks we have to do?
Maybe, once I get on a roll, it will be okay, but 25 sounds like 2,500 right now!!


Going to ask my mother to borrow her machine tomorrow at Father's Day dinner.

Ok, so I have been toying with signing up and thought I would commit here at the last moment. I made a test block of the frugal pattern and I can do it. But what is with the other blocks? I don't want to commit and then be unable to make a different block, know what I mean? I actually have cut all the rectangles out to make 25 blocks of the first pattern.....
