Frugal Pattern Quilt Block Swap (Sign-up ends 6/18/11)

Would everyone please chime in if possible and let me know htat you are squaring up the 7inch block (squared to 6.5) and not the 12.5 inch finished block. I have an erie feeling that someone is trying to do this (squaring up the 12.5 inch block.

Mine are getting better, guess there is a learning curve to rule following!!!!

I'm just checking in. I haven't tried a block yet. We had a large family picnic over the weekend to celebrate our daughter's graduation. We are so proud. She has passed her boards is now a registered Resp. Therapist. (Just had to brag about her
Last week was spent cleaning, cleaning and cooking - no sewing.

Today, we took a road trip to Shipshewana. Did some shopping at the bulk food store, but no fabric shops. That will be next time.

Anyway............
I hope to get a test block made tomorrow. I've read and noted everyone's tips. I can't wait to browse my stash for the fabrics. It's been awhile since I've done any quilting and I'm looking forward to this.

Acre, how are you doing? Has your mouth healed?

Yes, it has healed some though some would think not enough (I don't want to hear it ginbart)

You will do jsut fine... if you have any questions you know you can come here and ask. We all here think we know at least a little about sewing and quilting. lol Hope you all have a great evening.

I haven't tried a square yet. I really thought I would wait until I only have a few days left and then panic and throw them all together in a tizzy through the wee hours of the night!!! Haha just kidding. I sure hope I don't do that. We are doing VBS this week and the amount of kids I have this week has doubled to 4 so not much getting much done other than refereeing!! Hoping next week will be a little quieter. If not I have lots of velcro and duct tape to solve that problem!!

I started mine early b/c we are in the middle of a huge hot drought, and I hope I am way to busy w/ the garden later!
