I am planning to make a test block this afternoon. Can someone please let me know if I have the correct measurements?
I've been through every page and tried to make notes, but with all the different measurements I want to make sure I'm making these blocks like everyone else.

6 1/2 inch square that is cut on the diagonal.
1 1/2 inch wide by 10 1/2 inch long strip.
After sewing together, square up to 6 1/2 inches.
Sew 4 together and square up to 12 1/2 inches.

*I'm referencing page 14 here for ginbart's instructions and pictures just so I don't have to go looking for them again.

Thanks a bunch~

The first square you cut should be 7 inches (cut on the diagonal) then once the strip is added you can square it up to 6.5 inches. trust me, this is so much easier.

Acre of Blessings, thanks so much for the quick reply. 7" does make more sense - it's so much easier to square when the block isn't skimpy.

I'm off to do some cutting, sewing, pressing and squaring.

Okay - I know this is probably a DUMB question, BUT:

I just prewashed my fabrics - DO I DRY THEM IN THE DRYER???

Thanks for being (very) patient with a newbie!!
