We sure will!! There are a bunch of us that are beginners on here, others that are pros when it comes to piecing all these things together. I'm a beginner when it comes to anything that's not applique!

Laugh, are you crazy. They are great. What is the pink I see in the first one it's around all the blocks I can't think of the name and I know that took you a long time to do that.

Cadeau, that would be nice to help you finish it and Coyote, I can't cut a stright line to save my life. I don't know how I ever got my log cabin as far as I did. You are great at applique and I don't like it. I never think I'm good enought at it.

My machine has like 90 different stitches and some of them are embroidery type stitches. I used different ones to go around each block just to give it some pizazz! It did take a long time. I have a crazy quilt that my grandma did years ago and she did those type of embroidery stitches all by hand. I tried it on the crazy quilt and about went nutso!! My husband bought me the machine for Christmas two years ago and I used it to do that one too.

Thanks everyone for the nice comments! I really love sewing and hoping to expand on my abilities as I go!

Sooo....the only color requirement is cream/beige??

Do my other colors need to "go" together?

Could we put in a request for colors i.e. grownup colors or kid colors

or is this going to be a "crazy quilt"?

No, but I have lots of little bits and pieces that I picked up here and there b/c I liked them!

you don't have to be an expert to sew fabrics together and make a quilt.....you just have to be willing to give it a try.

cackydoodle----great job. My youngest dd would love that first quilt.
