How many does that give us? 6? Well someone on here, I won't say who, sent me a message yesterday and ask where this thread was. Maybe she will join.

Well Acre's has ask me to take over until she can get back on here, and it may take a couple of weeks. We may lower the amount of blocks we're doing depending on the amount of people we get. I'm going to go back and add the people that are not on the list. I hope we can get a couple more.

This block swap will help you get rid of lots of those scraps laying around your sewing room. If you didn't know what to do with them...here's a great idea.

The Frugal Patch Block
This swap is based on the 10 inch blocks at http://www.quilterscache.com/T/TheFrugalPatchBlock.html

Fabric
: All fabrics used should be 100% cotton, very nice quality quilt appropriate fabrics. No flimsy fabrics, please. FABRICS MUST BE PREWASHED PRIOR TO USING.

Colors: Diamond Shapes--Any Color,
Background--Random Tan or Cream Color,
Center Pieces--Any Color

Block Pattern: http://www.quilterscache.com/T/TheFrugalPatchBlock.html
Number
of blocks: 20 (maybe less or more dependant on number of sign-up's)
Sign Up Deadline: June 18th, 2011

Blocks due to me: Sept. 18th, 2011.....Blocks will be swapped and mailed out asap after all are received. I will only wait 5 days for stragglers.

Mailing: When you mail your blocks to me, be sure to INCLUDE INSIDE a SASE (self-addressed stamped envelope) with your address in both the From and To slots with the EXACT same amount of postage as it costs you to send them to me. If your packages do not have the appropriate postage, I will "return to sender". Blocks and SASE should be able to fit in a small flat rate Priorty Mail Envelope--I believe the stamp is $4.95 + Delivery Confirmation (75 more cents) $5.70 total. Be sure to get 2 stamps. 1 for sending to me. 1 for sending back to you. (2 sets will easily fit)

Please post here if you would like to join. As well as posting here, please PM me with your email addy, so I can keep the addy information for this swap.

Enjoy!!!

Cadeau, What about your mom's machine, OH I have an idea ( we need a sign with a person with a light above their head) anyway, maybe your mom and you could work together and you both could join. You could help each other out.

17Roses? Come on girl I know you have done these before didn't you?

I'm just trying to see where everyone is at.

thanks so much for helping me here. Oh, my, the things we can go through in life. I may not be on here everyday but you all can get with Ginbart for any info about the swap. Anyways, we can lower the number of blocks and that will be fine with me. I just hope we can get more to sign up before Saturday.

Sandi...so good to see you back online. Will try calling as soon as our phone is fixed. {{{have no clue whats wrong}}}

I got the pattern made, I work a 24 hr shift today (thurs) and sat. I am planning on trying out the pattern tomorrow (frid) I know it's cutting it close. Sorry been working hard in the garden.
