Ok I know this is in no way related to our quilt thread here but I need some help and have posted a thread and gotten no help so hoping you all can help me out.

I have had a problem with egg production for almost three months now. Out of 23 hens of laying age I am getting maybe 3-6 eggs a day! I thought the hens were eating them as I would find remnants of the shells and yolk spots. One day I had a yellow breasted leghorn!! Anyways yesterday I went in early to check for eggs and saw a mouse scurry out of there. Pretty sure that little sucker is eating them. How do I kill the mouse without killing my chickens? I am afraid to put poison in there and afraid if I put a trap that my curious, nosy chickens will hurt themselves on it. Need some ideas please.

Well I'm back and because I couldn't get on the internet I'm half way done.

I'm debating on going to the horse race's today our horse is raceing but it's raining like cats and dogs. Thank God for the rain I know I won't melt but it's a hour to get there and I may have to park a couple football fields away. OH what to do.......

Here I am ready to work on more blocks and now I can't find where I put the ones that are done.
