So I have asked multiple chicken people and local hatcheries and all have come back with different answers. Need help as none of my feathered friends have been sick previously.

I have a buckeye hen who is still laying, but she is bare bottomed and has almost no tail feathers left (her oil gland at the base of her tail is exposed). Any feathers left in this area are very fluffy, like a baby chicks. Her stools are watery, she craves protein anything, and is drinking like she went through a drought.

I have checked her over for mites and lice and see nothing. I see nothing super concerning on her coop mates either. I have one other I'm keeping an eye on because of her wing missing a small (less than a dime in size) section of her feathers on her outer wing. Given this birds need to challenge everything and eat feathers, I figured at first she had been going after the Buckeye. However, while this is somewhat true (not as often as I thought), it does not explain the other problems or the lack of feathers on both birds.

Need addtional ideas and treatment solutions.
