NJ, Rosedale Mills in Pennington NJ is getting a shipment I believe tomorrow from Murray McMurray. I know you are a bit away from there, but maybe it's worth the drive!

I bet if you put an add on Craig's list asking for chicks that are 6 to 8 weeks of age you would find some sellers. You might even be surprised at the variety of breeds that are available.

do you have any flea market/farm market places anywhere around? (we have one close by in Rogers Oh.) I know those kind of places have chickens!

Hope you get some babies soon! I live in an urban area and get chicks from feed stores or make the long drive to a farm (preferable to avoid shipping stress / mortality). If you can think of a region near you that has the occasional cow grazing, there is a feedstore nearby that may have chicks. Good luck.
