Frustratedd by dead roo

My big 2yr old mutt rooster was fine last weekend, and seemed ok Wednesday, I was dealing with another emergency Thursday so i can't guarantee he was ok then. Tonight when I came home he didn't escort his hens out I found him laying on the coop floor to weak to stand and gasping. He was a little keely, definitely dehydrated, but he died less than an hour later. So frustrated not knowing what did him in.

If you want to know what did him in, have a necropsy done. Most states have labs that will do them for little to no cost. You would have to have him refridgerated to preserve the tissues.
