I have jumbo coturnix from Sam's original stock. They are brown and I have one golden female.

My hatch rates have been 100% with eggs as old as 10 days.

I have hatched 1 golden in every hatch to date.

$5 a dozen with extras plus the cost of shipping.

PM for paypal details.

How many birds do you have MP? I might be interested in a dozen or so!
Would be happy to get some of my original blood back!

I only have 6 birds left of the originals. They are laying huge eggs.

I'd be happy to send you some hatching eggs, Sam.

I have the one golden and so far I have hatched a golden from every set of eggs. I am getting a 100% hatch rate on these quail. They started laying last September so they are 9 or so months old now.

I'll assume the golden ones are light with a little brown? If so I hatched one from the batch I got from you quite a while back. The rest are brown. How do you know which are male and female?

The male birds can be identified by the rusty brown colored feathers on the upper throat and lower breast region. Males also have a cloacal gland, a bulbous structure located at the upper edge of the vent which secretes a white, foamy material.
