Yeah we are off to a good start, I think this is going to be a candling hatch. day 5 I will be candling.

My eggs did come yesterday, but I had to let them sit for 24 hours. I was going to start them today at 11:11 a.m., but I missed it by 3 minutes. Oh well, they went in at 11:15 a.m., so I guess I'm bringing up the rear.

Thanks for the invite. I have 35 Black Australorps eggs, and 5 EE's that look like wellies X with my BA. They should be interesting since she lays a beautiful blue egg. God knows what they will look like, or what color eggs they might lay?

Mine aren't that dark, more like a light turquoise. They are great hens and amazing layers. We had a terrible heat wave here this year and they didn't slow down one bit, they even kept laying right through molting.
