Full Moon Egg Setting Who wants to join?

Okay getting things set. I think I'm going to run 2 hatchers. One for the 5 Silkies and one 8 D'Uccles. The Silkies have really bad air cells. I might have to watch closely and help. D'Uccles are not shipped are my own. So lock down will be a little later around lets say 3:18pm

So getting ready to lock down. My Silkie's air cells are messed up, do you think I should put them in egg cartons so not to disturb the way they have been through out the set? I'm so excited, I've been seeing a lot of movement from the silkie eggs.

HAPPY HATCHING ALL WHO HAVE JOINED. Lets see if the farmers almanac was right.

My last hatch I didn't use cartons like I usually did. I couldn't see well in my Sportman and didn't see that one had pipped until days later when I took them out. I have this hatch in a carton as usual, so I hope that helps. I have much better hatches using cartons.

So cartons it is. I just saw that the moon is in a waxing crescent. Should be beautiful. It sets at 8:49 pm and I think that is the time I have chosen to lock down. That means everyone is candled, placed, water added and locked down at that time. So cmom you getting ready also, or have you already lock down?

Mine are locked down. I'm excited that all of them made it this far, but worried since sometimes I don't get the great hatches I hope for. If I do I have 9 little EEs. I just set a few more of these and Big Bird is out in the box right now, so more eggs to come from her. She's just awesome!

Mine go to the hatchr tomorrow started 11/11 , got 21 Buckeyes in there here's hopeing ,
also 18 from my layers ( mutts ) and 11 ee's for a neighabor , hatcher has 2 trays that are divided to keep them seperated .

Okay officially in lock down crazy mode. I've got 2 hatchers going. One with the Silkies and one with the D'Uccle's. Everyone that I thought would make it to lock down did. 5 Silkies and 8 D'Uccles. I will be stuck to the bators all day tomorrow, since I don't have to work.

I had a feeling I must have eggs due to hatch soon. I try to only open the Hatcher twice a day to fill water trays, I have staggered hatches in there. Woot, our moon babies should start popping out soon!:-D

Mine pipped!

Early, go figure, dispite too low temps half the time!

I'm super worried, I only had the humidity at 50! Did I shrink wrap it?? It didn't pip through the membrane, and isn't moving!

I don't know weather to help or not, it's not like I can do damage to the other eggs. Should I help??
