Full Moon Egg Setting Who wants to join?

Glad you are back. It's hard to believe we are all going to have babies in the next couple days. So far I haven't heard anyone having troubles. YEAH.

Came home to one chick. 5 are pipped and 2 of those are zipping. The other 2 could also be pipped but at the bottom, where I can't see it. Of the Silkies, a buff one is pipped and started to zip. Nothing from the others. of the 4 left one was questionable, but the other 3 they were all moving at lock down, but have bad air cells. Lucky for me, I have a doctors appt. so I'm not going to work tomorrow. I can stay up late and chat while the chicks are popping out.

I always have that itch, I spend way to much time on the BSA, lurking for the ONE. I want to get eggs before Dec 8th. For the next Moon Hatch. I now have 2 chicks. The second one just popped right out, I missed the whole thing again, even though I an about 15 ft from them. Yeah for everyone

My poor bater has been going since september lol and I have missed every hatching chick! Darn them! They must have figured out my work schedule lol

OMGosh. The power just went out.

We have had rain and wind for the past three days and not once does the power go out. I put blankets around incubators, this just can't be good. Oh my, the battery on my phone is dying .

Only 2 pips and after hours I decided to take one out and see if it was alive. Poor baby was shrink wrapped. There was blood in the shell, so I don't know if he'll make it out. I waited a couple of hours and just picked of the area of the second one where the pip is and the beak popped out making lots of noise. I don't know if it's shrink wrapped to, but I finally upped the humidity to about 73. This is a dry hatch, so I don't know why 70 wasn't high enough to get them out. Still hoping and have 7 more doing nothing.
