Full Moon hatch

I moved her last night after the first egg hatched. Now she has 5 babies so far and at least 2 other pips. Even the cracked egg that I put candle wax on at 10 days has pipped.

No they are barred rock mixes. Daddy is a BR mommys could be BA, RIR, BR, BO and NN. We finally got a little black NN. She was hatched early this evening. She is still on 4 eggs of which 1 is zipping right now. So far we have 9 chickies. Oh by the way the NN that hatched was from the cracked egg.

I have Nothing still. It appears, I need to watch where I purchase my eggs from. The last two batches I got came through the Cincinnati OH sort, they had damaged boxes like some one defiantly said fragile we can stack this heavy tool box on the corner. Oh well its the chance you take. I will be careful. I do have hope for Wynette's BCM to hatch this weekend. I candled when I moved the others to the hatcher and it appeared almost all are developing.

My last 2 hatched today so that is a sum total of 3 out of 8 shipped eggs. My last batch of 6 I had 0, my current batch of 6 that has been in a week, only 1 is developing. However, I messaged the seller about this as the first batch was from her also, and she has said she will incubate a batch herself to see if any hatch. If they do, she'll get the chicks to me, if they don't, she'll send me a free batch next year when she has tested the fertility in the spring. Its always worth sending the seller a polite message if they don't hatch. Good luck.

That's great that the seller is willing to that. When I set my Duccle's I had 18, I'm pretty sure most were old eggs the auction was for 6, and she was on vacation when auction ended I got 2 all the rest were clear. I guess its the price we pay for shipped eggs.
 
So far Ive got 10 babies 2 of them NN's. She has 3 eggs to go. I may have to finish them off in the incubator they are a little behind the others as she was stealing eggs from other nests. I caught her. She ended up with 14 eggs and 1 was clear. Here is a pic of some of the babies and her from today. The 2 little NN's that hatched last are in the front.
