Our girl that was the worst off just died. The other three aren’t feeling great, but weren’t as bad as her…so I’m hoping tomorrow will be better for them.Hopefully, they will have some empty crops in the morning. The Monistat or miconazole is good to use twice a day for sour crop. Make sure they have granite poultry grit available in a separate container from food. If the crop is nit functioning, they can get dehydrated and nit get enough nutrition. Egg is pretty easy to digest. The others without symptoms are probably fine and didn’t eat much of the treats.
I’ve been so careful with everything we’ve done for them, and this was the one time I “splurged” and I regret it so much.
I have grit available at all times, but it doesn’t seem like they go to it. I’ve mixed some in their feed for now. I’ll continue to give them some egg and try to keep them hydrated. We gave them electrolytes/probiotics today and I’ll do the same tomorrow.
