Of all the perching choices they have, my girls seem to like the crate and the door of the crate best. Hahaha.

I hadn’t thought to use a crate. Good thinking!

That crate and the little run that I made from the crate to the end of the main run was for chicks I was integrating into the original flock. I meant to take it away after all the chickens were together, but all of them enjoy it so much I just left it in there. I made a door at the far end and opened the crate door and all of them love the setup. I guess to them it’s like having more rooms in your house.
