Fun with Worms

I just wanted to share the little movie I made of my 2 chicks catching their first worm.....and fighting over it.
They are so cute!

That's so funny! When one of my chickens finds a tasty treat it can never just be quiet and eat it. It has to cluck out and let everybody know and then the chase is on!

I know just what you mean
Yesterday they were fighting over a huge spider.
The same chase went on but with black spider legs hanging out of her beak.

I wish I'd had my camera charged.

Chickens really do like worms, don't they! My chickens always especially love rainy weather, when lots of worms come out.

Just be careful about letting them eat too many worms at this age. Earthworms are often a source of worms in chickens.

Yeah they haven't found another like that that have seen, but they seem to eat everything.
If they see a fruit fly it is so funny ...the expression on her face is priceless. I couldn't see what it was she was jerking around and running after at first because it was so small.
