fungas on crop and swollen vent

Hi everyone i had a red sexlink for 12 months and she stopped laying so i thought she was moulting.This past week she seemed to have a fungas on her crop and her vent seemed to have some intestine protruding.So i culled her but i am worried about the others.

A fungus on her crop? Perhaps you mean comb?

If so, it was quite possibly fowl pox, which is carried by mosquitoes. The intestine protruding could have been a prolapse, perhaps caused by being eggbound, which is having an egg stuck in the passage. She might have survived both these problems. At any rate, neither is contagious.

Do some research on these problems and see if they fit your chicken's symptoms.
