It's a mashup of The Empire Strikes Back walkers and Ed 2000 from Robocop. Kinda like saying "live long and prosper" to a Star Wars fan. I am sensitive to this idiocy because a long time best friend is a Star Wars indoctrinee.

As an aside, my son ran the words "Star Wars" together when he was very young so it sounded like stahwerz. This friend spent hours over the course of my son's youth trying to get him to say it "right".
Adult- "Star"
Toddler- "Star"
A- "Star Wars"
