8 pretty green eggs.

A couple have laid eggs in the HORSE feeder. My horse got all excited at dinner time and saw one egg and BIT IT!

I found an egg inside MY garage this weekend. Apparently some quail got loose a week or so ago my DW thought she had caught them all. I think she may have missed one.

I used to have a 1973 chevy van parked on the property that I used to store my camping equipment in. Well the motor cover was off inside the van. Somehow the hen jumped up through the motor and found a bucket and layed her eggs there. She also hatched her eggs there and the only way I found out was I found the hen under the van one day doing that noise where they are calling there young. This got my interest , so I looked in the van and found all the babies that hadn't come out yet. What a trip!

Inside an old bus that was left on our property by the previous owner.

On top of a stack of hay bales in the barn.

On a pile of nuts and bolts on the counter in the barn. Luckily none of the eggs broke.

We keep them cooped until noon now to encourage them to use their nest boxes.

Inside the goat feeders &

Inside the buck house (little tiny house for the stinky male goats...I can bearly fit thru the door all humped over then I can't get back out!)

Goofy girls!

in the fertilizer hopper (pulled behind riding mower) that was under the air hockey table in the garage. she had a nice stash in there when
I found it.

I had a hen that went next door to my mom's house, about 40 yards from mine, went in her back door, which she keeps open in the Spring, and laid her eggs in the covered cat litter box in her mud room. (the cats were going in and out at will, so weren't using the litter box) By the time mom found her she had 10 eggs and was sitting, so she let her stay until they hatched. If one of mom's cat's dared even look in the litter box the hen made the most horrendous hissing noise. If mom had a visitor that happened to stand too long in front of the covered litter box, the hen would run out to shooo them off. People are really startled when an attack hen runs out of a covered litter box at them... LOL

She hatched them all out, and took them outside the first day, then that night wanted to bring them all back in the house ... lol Mom said no, and evicted her and the little ones to the coop.
