I had them out in their play pen today. This was their 3rd day in the sun and they finally were really getting into it. Well, our not well behaved dog decided to dig a whole in my shrubs along the house. After getting over being upset with him, I noticed all the worms he dug up. I grabbed several and took them over the the chicks. It took them a moment to figure it out, but when they did...????? WOW! Whoever had the worm was fair game and the chasing began. It was hilarious! I put more then enough worms in there for everyone. But they only wanted the worm that someone else had... Too funny!!!

I can't wait to try this with my chicks. You should put it on You tube, that is what I plan to do. Cute chickens btw!

They are cute! What breeds? The chasing is funny, and with mine the one with the goody that's being chased is chirping really loud, and just calling more attention to herself in the process! Aren't they so entertaining? I'm in the NW OH area too and had my 6 wk olds out in a play area for awhile today too.

I wish I could have gotten them on film. It was just so cute!

SuzP, wasn't it just a beautiful weekend around these parts? I had the girls out both days. They were just loving it! Oh and I have no idea their breeds. I got them from TSC, just picked them by color. At the time, it was 4 yellow, 3 brown and 3 black. I think the white(yellow) ones are golden comets, but no clue on the others.
