I guess this is a little more embarrassing than funny, but about a year ago we hatched off a SUPER ugly chicken (shes a polish/d’uccle mix). I mean the poor thing is just plain scary.
Anyway, my little brothers play a game on their Xbox called ‘Shadow of War’ and they thought it would be funny to name her after one of the orcs.

Her name is Snafu.

A group of two of these are collectively called The Stupids. They are so stupid as to follow the dangerous human around all the time while my other chickens are more evasive. They were incubator chicks whereas most of my others were broody-hatched.

A group of 6 or 7 Barred Rocks are collectively called The Messies. No explanation needed.

I don't name each chicken individually.
