My two red sex linked and one ameraucana are laying and they now come up to me and lean on me ,shoving each other to get close to me and I pet them and scratch their necks and they just stay there and I think I could do it for hours and they would stay there. Funny girls. They started doing this at the time they first started laying their eggs. Has anyone else had this behavior. I have four hens, one has not started laying yet and she shies from me, the reds have always been less shy, but now the three are "needy" it seems lol.
