~>Fury of the Wind<~ (A Bird RP)

Magnolia followed, though her dive-bombing was less graceful because of her lack of experience. You chick-stealers better not touch my friend! The much larger, unsuspecting raven's eyes widened as the small, shiny crow attacked her like a one-man-army.
"Ha! Fly away like the cowardly raven you are!" Cricket cawed triumphantly. She circled Magnolia excitedly. "You did great!"
Why does she get to go? Pine thought, as the birds circled back around to the nest (assuming they do). She felt an awful stench of envy and resentment rise up inside her. Why couldn't she leave them alone? Pine sat herself down next to the dosing twins, tucked her beak under her wing, and pretended to be asleep. She didn't want to talk to anyone.

Aspen ignored her and flew higher up until they could no longer see her. Then she circled around until she was right above them. She pinpointed where one of the crows were and tucked her wings in, diving straight for it and positioning her claws so they would scrape along their wing as she dived into them.

"Here they have a military. They drove out all the other birds from the city and no one has dared to stand against them since." Fish Sticks said. He was both in awe and frightened of the small, angry birds.
"I see..." Riski said. "I suppose they could be a threat. How far does their territory go? Have they ever been to those trees?" He rose in flight and dipped before pointing his beak at the Raven Territory.

Magnolia inflated with the praise. She was about to congratulate Cricket as well when she spotted the diving raven and cawed in alarm. "Cricket!" she cried "Get out of the way!" In her panic, she didn't know which direction to escape to, so naturally, she went into freefall. A bit unorthodox, but she managed to escape the blow from above. Whether she would escape gravity was a better question.

She smirked and followed the smaller crow down, figuring she'd be the easiest one to take down and make a point that she didn't give up easily

Magnolia continued to free-fall, shreiking and flapping with panic as the ground came up at her face, much too fast. Thud! The tiny crow collapsed in a pile of leaves, but at least she hadn't ended up in a hungry raven's claws, according to her reckoning. She didn't reckon much out after that though. Her head pounded, and eventually, everything faded to black.
The little crow was stretched out on the ground, surrounded by leaves, looking smaller than ever.

Aspen landed gracefully beside the unconscious little crow. She grabbed it in her claws and lifted it gently, carrying it away back to her own nest

Cricket and Frog had flown back to the nest quickly, leaving Magnolia behind. They knew that the chicks were vulnerable and that Aspen might have been a diversion.
By the time Cricket realized Magnolia was no where to be found, it was already too late. She heard a shriek and remebered that her mother had gone off to circle the nest for more ravens, and her friend was left alone. Cricket dived off the branch, throwing out her wings at the last second and flapping close to the ground to gain speed. "Magnolia!" She shouted desperately.

(oh..Should I change it?)
