Copper flew up to the nest. "I heard Magnolia was taken by a raven. What can I do to help?"
Minnow flew back and landed on the nest, a somewhat scraggly crow right behind her. "Wait till a few others come and then split into groups of 2 and start searching the land for her. Go into raven territory if you need to. Do you know how to make the call of the Mockingjay? (~holds up 3 fingers and whistles~) If you find her make that call."

The scraggly crow was a short, fat little thing. He was generally known as an odd-ball loner, strange, but harmless.

She turned to Frog." Go, go!"

Copper nodded and swiftly flew off, scanning the land below for the little crow.

Aspen sighed and still sat in her nest with the little crow. She looked up at the bridge that she had built her nest under and wondered when the crow would wake up.

Ravens
The ravens are more solitary than most of the other birds. Though they are known to, on occasion, group up in flocks if there are important matters to discuss. It usually takes several days of careful preparation, but once united, the ravens are a formidable force. They are very proud of their status as forest birds, and most know the layout of their home territory like the back of their wing. They are very stealthy, and may even teach another bird something if they have the patience and means to pay.

Facts
- ravens eat small animals, insects, grain, fruits, carrion, garbage, and seeds
- they build nests on cliff ledges, power line towers, telephone poles, in trees, and under bridges
- their predators include eagles, owls, hawks and occasionally foxes and cats

Vocabulary
Blast-sticks - guns

Aspen landed gracefully beside the unconscious little crow. She grabbed it in her claws and lifted it gently, carrying it away back to her own nest

Once she had gotten the little crow back to her nest, she did a through check up to make sure she was going to be okay. All she found on the crow was a few scratches along her head and she probably had a concussion. She bandaged her head and then sat, waiting for her to wake.

"I don't know," Fish Sticks replied, feeling foolish for not knowing the answer to any of the albatross's questions. "We can check it out?" He suggested. He felt, for the second time in his life, the yearn to explore. And now he had backup. Hopefully, Riski wouldn't be like the other one, who had fled at the first hint of danger, leaving Fish Sticks to deal with the pigeons on his own...
"Yes. I think we should," Albatross said, already flying in the direction of the trees far in the distance, wondering if his seagull friend could keep up.
After a while she figured she should find something for the little crow to eat when she woke up. She flew out of the nest and started searching around for some seeds and berries. Once she got a nice beak full, she flew back to the nest and dropped it in front of the crow and sat back down, waiting patiently
Magnolia woke up with a headache that blurred her vision. Slowly, she recalled the fall and her vision cleared, though the headache remained. As she glanced around herself, she found she was under a bridge, staring into the beady eyes of the very raven she'd escaped from. All other details ignored, she screamed loud -and very high-pitched. Then she shoved past the raven and threw herself out of the nest, careful to open her wings this time. The small crow flitted quickly over the river and straight into a deep forest. Magnolia didn't look back to see if she was being followed or not, saving all energy for getting as far away as possible.
As she made her way past about the hundredth row of trees, screaming "HELP!" at the top of her lungs, she realized she was thoroughly lost -deep in the raven territory. She grew silent, fear advancing like a cat stalking its prey.

(That's true, you guys do what seems best. If this is too much lmk.)
All 3 chicks stared at Frog with bewildered eyes.

(Fingers? XD)

Frog flapped into the air, landing on a branch near the nest. He gestured to Minnow that he wanted to talk.

(Not all of them. Some live at the edge of the city, especially loners. :p)
