Claw whipped her beak down, her face inches away from his. "Why those two birds in particular? I'm guessing they committed some sort of treason? You pigeons and your treason." She muttered the last part in an irritated voice, unconsciously digging her claws deeper in his wing.

His eye twinkled a bit, judging from her strong reaction it was clear she had something to do with them. "Honey those birds broke our lieutenant's wing, they're a real threat that we have to investigate. Why should you care about them anyway? Are they imPORTANT-" He yelped as her claws dug into his side, and out of instinct tried to flap his wings.

Storm crouched down submissively, tensing for the inevitable clawing he would receive. To his surprise, it didn't come. Instead, the raven sounded almost as nervous as he felt. He was confused, seeing as she was cowering in front of him, despite him being much smaller. Storm stared at the raven weirdly, not saying anything, as he was too dumbfounded to speak.

She looked at him her eyes terrified. “Please. I’m begging you. Don’t kill me” she said her voice shaking

Quickly realizing that he wasn't a threat, the tightness of Claw's grip lessened, but didn't go away completely, letting the pigeon breathe easier. "Ah. I suppose you're one of the pigeon military, eh?" She said slowly, her dark gaze never leaving his face. She might be able to use this bird to her advantage.

"Lightning-fast horse birds that can't fly, you say." Fish Sticks replied, trying not to appear as excited as he felt. Instead, he cocked his head a bit and narrowed his eyes, as if he was doubting Riski's sanity.

"Yes..." Riski said. "Why do you look like a cross-eyed penguin?" He turned his head to the side. The other bird's face looked permanently damaged. Then again, Riski's face looked permanently damaged, and was permanently damaged.

Earl flapped away from where the wounded seagull lay, wondering whether it would die from its wounds or simply get eaten by a small predator.
He floated leisurely, drifting down towards where a pair of pigeons cooed aggressively. He chose to speak from above, where he was silhouetted against the white, overcast sky. "I see two pigeons fighting each other..." he said. "In raven land. Must I remind you of our treaty? Or must I evict you... forever..." He clacked his heavy, worn beak as he descended, swooping over the two pigeons, talons spread dangerously.

(Yes! Now I can add Earl again!)

Claw was monetarily surprised by his sudden movement, but quickly put her other foot that had been on his chest firmly onto his other wing. She noticed the way her claws were digging into his wing, but didn't bother to loosen them. "Yeah, they ain't important, really. But I do need to find them..." she was muttering to herself again, her eyes gone distant. Then Claw seemed to remember that Barky was still there and her eyes snapped back onto his. "Now, tell me, why shouldn't I kill you right now and go on my way?"

She looked at him her eyes terrified. “Please. I’m begging you. Don’t kill me” she said her voice shaking

Storm continued to stare at her as if she had lost her mind. He was tempted to turn and run, seeing as this raven obviously had something wrong with her. But, his desperate need to socialize overcame his want to flee. "Uh... I'm not going to kill you." He squeaked, gaining a bit of confidence and stepping forward hesitantly. "For one, I'm a third of your size. Also.. I'm Storm." He chirped quickly.

"What're you doin' here, stranger?" Vaatras asked, having landed beside them without anyone noticing, as they'd been too invested in Riski's stories.
