~>Fury of the Wind<~ (A Bird RP)

Trout hopped over, not finding it necessary to fly. "I will go find Blizzard. The healer." He informed them. He lifted a foot to scratch a loose feather out. Those pigeons sure are good at pulling out feathers.

"Cat-Eyes," she said, still keeping her cheerfulness despite the suspicion of her new visitor. However, she did give a curious look at Blizzard, before stepping aside and pushing away the last of the leaves. "I hope you aren't here to arrest me." She cawed amusedly.
“No. I hear that you may have some information regarding some prisoners.”
Moonlight cast a glance around the dark hollow. She had never been in a crow’s nest before, and frankly, was not impressed. Can’t they tidy up a little around here? she thought. Weird objects of seemingly little importance appeared to be scattered around the surprisingly large space. She kicked a jay’s feather across the room to see if she could get a rise out of the strange, cheerful crow.

Storm prodded Molly with a clawed foot. "Hey, wake up, I can hear something below." He cawed at her, hopping around in an excited circle.
Earl glanced at Azaz through his slightly clouded eyes. “Oh, Azaz. I was just wondering what was going on in here. I was not aware of the capture of two crows. Are there other things I need to know?”

*Nanako darted after the gulls.*
Rocket landed on a lamppost. She was panting. "They're at the pier," she cooed uncertainly when she had caught her breath. Seeing Nana's blank face, she quickly explained. "It's basically the boundary between the territories of seagulls and pigeons. Although it rightfully belongs to the almighty pigeon empire, the seagulls don't respect our boundaries, as you have seen." She said with dignity. "But it looks like those gulls are heading off to sea." She added.
Molly moaned and sat up shuffling over with him. “What do you suppose is going on?”
"No," said Storm brightly, "but, we can find out if we go over there." He pointed to a dip in the tree trunk, where you could faintly hear voices from below.

Okay” Molly agreed edging her way out

"Prisoners?" Cat-Eyes questioned, "What did they do?"
"Treason," Blizzard replied, examining her trinkets. Looks like her collection has expanded.
"That would do it," Cat-Eyes muttered, cocking her head at Moonlight when she kicked the feather like an angsty fledgling. "Tell me more about these prisoners."
---
"As far as I know, that's all," Azaz replied smoothly. With her, though, lies came as easily as the truth. "I'm sure Shadow has told you all you need to know."

Storm hunched down in it, flicking away a stray scrap of candy wrapper. He put his head against the wood and listened hard. "Oh! They said something about prisoners!" He cawed excitedly, keeping his voice down so he could make out the rest of the conversation.

“Fugitives would be a better word.” Moonlight shifted uneasily. They had never been caught in the first place.
“So would you know the location of a yellow, muffed pigeon, a gull, and of all things, a burrowing owl? They were last seen flying toward raven territory, but Blizzard tells me you know things.”

“Yes, I’m sure Shadow has told me all I need to know,” Earl muttered, not caring who heard him. He peered up at the cages, still shadowed in that early hour. What were those crows doing up there, and what about them did Azaz feel was important to conceal from him?

“Ooh” Molly looked intrigued
Moonlight tilted her head toward the ground. Voices?
She scrutinized Cat Eyes. Was she the kind of crow who would start a family? She supposed so. Crows were well known for their large families, so she supposed this one did too.
”Those your kids down there?” Moonlight asked, tapping her toes on the wood. Her perception on the nest changed as she realized its size could be double or triple of what she had originally thought.
But it's all so claustrophobic, she reminded herself. I like to have a view of the sky in the morning.
