~>Fury of the Wind<~ (A Bird RP)

Cement stared after him. Dedicated gull. She thought, returning to her tasks. There were two small gangs who’s leaders she fully trusted, but she wasn’t sure if all their birds would be willing to go along with the plan. One unsure pigeon could ruin anything. However, now they had the gulls. They would have to be enough. Other gang leaders would surely support her once she explained herself. If they were able to stop the coup.

“Cement’s gang. You’ve probably heard of us. Blizzard.. was a friend of the gang.”
Another pigeon stepped forward and started giving instructions to Pita. “Lay on this. Tuck in your feet and move as little as possible..” She said. “Try and tuck in your wings. You don’t have to fully bring the broken one in.” She added.

Fish Sticks nodded enthusiastically. It seemed that RAA was actually denser than the gull. “Just as bad as red squirrels.” He added, despite the fact that red squirrels are, well, red.

“Russet! I was jus’ trying to figure out what happened, mate.” Barnacles cawed. He raised his wings to gesture broadly to the carnage, causing a few pigeons to step back nervously. “I asked those dingo-eaten birds over there, but they” he huffed, “were rather bloody rude about it.”
Ritz was thinking about lunch. He was hungry after all that flying back and forth, and once he reported back to Sebastian, he might actually get to have it if he didn’t get sent back again for some reason.
“The... pigeons... agree...” he gasped, landing unsteadily in front of the larger gull. “Nothing else to report.”
“Well, that was fast. You should probably get some rest,” said Sebastian.
And get lunch? But Ritz was too afraid to make that inquiry, and Sebastian flew off. He didn’t know, anyway, that it wasn’t lunch yet. (Here we’ll leave them until time catches up with me)

Pita was the picture of obedience. He was, after all, an npc.

(I keep going back to read this, and then burst out laughing)
Had to salvage his stupidity there, thought Riski.

“Yes, they can...” Riski said, thinking Barnacles was talking about his gang members. “Crikey! Mate, those’re are corpses. Wow, yer vision’s even worse than the last time I saw ye.”

Beaks flapped over to Russet. He landed, taking a few awkward steps away from the one-eyed raven. He asked permission for a small group to take Pita back to the gang’s main nest.
(To be fair, all of Cement’s gang are npcs. Except Russet, Cement, and Dusty, who I forgot existed until now.)

Fish Sticks muttered something else about squirrels.

“Huh?” Barnacles clicked his huge beak. “Course I know those’re corpses! Too many to jus’ be red pigeons.” He shook his head in exasperation. “Mate, yer not telling me nothin’.” Seeing Russet’s confusion, he continued. “What’s happened here?!”

Tippy panted, shivering between breaths, on a stunted tree branch. At the sight of the incoming gang pigeons, he had realized with a horrible sinking feeling in his crop that he had been too slow. They would all perish anyway. So he did the logical thing- flew away. Like the coward I am. He thought with bitter resentment. Oh, I hope.. at least some were able to get away. He had flown as far as he could away from the fighting. Now he was near the center of the city, where the lieutenants and general roosted. The sky was rapidly darkening, and Tippy fluffed up his feathers against the cold.

(Why did I commit to this accent)
“Of course,” Russet said, nodding to Beaks.
Russet shook his head sadly. “This’res the remains of Blizzard’s flock, the poor bloke. Sulliver's gang did the sorry battlers in. Sulliver and his gang never did like Blizzard’s mates, and now he’s planning a coup. Plans to do away with One-Toe, and wot then? He’s gonna establish a new pigeon leader, whoe’er that may be. Massacres like this’ll be commonplace then. Non-members will be subjected to abuse like this.”

“Bloody crustaceans!” Barnacles cursed, a remnant from his time at sea. “Those birds..” He sighed heavily. “Any way I can help, mate, any way at all. Some of those pier pigeons.. aye, I knew them well.”

Nanako: yeah, that's Dane. *she said in responds.*
Dane: for the most part. Lucky, nothing was broken. My name is Dane.
Are we going to sit here all day? Rocket thought. She stepped forward, and in one poorly-thought-through moment, was speeding towards the pigeons of Cement’s gang, ready to confront them.

“It would be safer if you stay with Cement’s gang, at least for now, Dane.” Trenton said. He cocked his head, waiting for affirmation. If Dane didn’t want to stay with the gang, there wasn’t much he could do to stop him. It would be much more dangerous by himself, but it was his choice.

Nanako: their not attacking him, I don't think their enemies! *she called after before flying to catch up to her.*

Dane: who would cement be??
