Ritz was thinking about lunch. He was hungry after all that flying back and forth, and once he reported back to Sebastian, he might actually get to have it if he didn’t get sent back again for some reason.Cement stared after him. Dedicated gull. She thought, returning to her tasks. There were two small gangs who’s leaders she fully trusted, but she wasn’t sure if all their birds would be willing to go along with the plan. One unsure pigeon could ruin anything. However, now they had the gulls. They would have to be enough. Other gang leaders would surely support her once she explained herself. If they were able to stop the coup.
“Cement’s gang. You’ve probably heard of us. Blizzard.. was a friend of the gang.”
Another pigeon stepped forward and started giving instructions to Pita. “Lay on this. Tuck in your feet and move as little as possible..” She said. “Try and tuck in your wings. You don’t have to fully bring the broken one in.” She added.
Fish Sticks nodded enthusiastically. It seemed that RAA was actually denser than the gull. “Just as bad as red squirrels.” He added, despite the fact that red squirrels are, well, red.
“Russet! I was jus’ trying to figure out what happened, mate.” Barnacles cawed. He raised his wings to gesture broadly to the carnage, causing a few pigeons to step back nervously. “I asked those dingo-eaten birds over there, but they” he huffed, “were rather bloody rude about it.”
“The... pigeons... agree...” he gasped, landing unsteadily in front of the larger gull. “Nothing else to report.”
“Well, that was fast. You should probably get some rest,” said Sebastian.
And get lunch? But Ritz was too afraid to make that inquiry, and Sebastian flew off. He didn’t know, anyway, that it wasn’t lunch yet. (Here we’ll leave them until time catches up with me)
Pita was the picture of obedience. He was, after all, an npc.
(I keep going back to read this, and then burst out laughing)
Had to salvage his stupidity there, thought Riski.
“Yes, they can...” Riski said, thinking Barnacles was talking about his gang members. “Crikey! Mate, those’re are corpses. Wow, yer vision’s even worse than the last time I saw ye.”
