~>Fury of the Wind<~ (A Bird RP)

Rocket stared suspiciously after the pigeon. She had been doing that a lot lately. “Here we are, at another gang’s roosting place.” She muttered to herself. It felt strange, being with a group of pigeons that wasn’t Suliver’s gang. Though, of course, she used to live with a different group; her family. That felt so long ago.

Cement glanced around for any bird that might’ve been waiting patiently to ask something of her. Seeing no one, she nodded. It was early enough to get a quick dinner. “The field or the bins?” She questioned, content to let Russet make the decision. She had made enough decisions for today.
*nanako stuck close to this.*

Nanako: what do you make of this whole event? *she asked her.*

“The fight?” Rocket questioned. She didn’t meet Nana’s gaze, instead staring with unfocused eyes at the roosting birds. “I- I don’t know. It wasn’t like any fight I’ve been in. It was so unfair...” She twitched her wings. “I can’t believe my gang would participate in something like that.” She finally looked to her friend. “They must have had some reason.. right?”

Nanak: I cannot say why they would. Nor why this gang would arrive shortly after.

Rocket cocked her head. “Huh.” She muttered, having not thought about the gang’s sudden arrival. She looked around. “Should we find a roost?” She asked, promising herself that she would think of this all later.

Nanako: yea, that sounds like a good idea.
Rocket found a spot away from the majority of Cement’s gang but still protected from the elements. Despite her earlier thoughts, she couldn’t stop herself from going over and over the events of the day in her head. Several minutes later, she couldn’t stand it, and cooed a quiet question. “Nana? You awake?”

“The bins,” said Russet. The field was too far, with a lot less food available. After moving all those pigeons he didn’t really want to do anything involving very much effort.
(time skip to morning?)

Nanako: to much excitement to sleep. *she admitted.* my mind is still wide awake.

(Yeah, after the Rocket sand Nanako scene is finished.)
Cement and her mate flapped to the bins and picked through for anything edible. Cement found a whole end of bread and offered it to Russet, knowing that he was hungrier than her.

“What was your flock like- you know, the human-caged flock?” Rocket asked.

Nanako: it was small, only five of us in it. My brother, , sister, both my parents and myself. My father was our flock leader. Dane lived with the humans next to mine and often trained with me.
