Future Chicken Mama from Austin, TX

Hi! We live in Austin and are hoping to be new chicken owners within the coming weeks. We are specifically interested in the bearded silkie bantam breed. We have a dog, cat, and decent-sized backyard within the city. I found this website while doing research on breeders. I love being outside everyday in my vegetable garden, and I can't wait to add little chickies to our family so that they can be outside with me as well.
