Future Dyeing Plans

I currently have chicken eggs in my incubator. I’ve been looking everywhere for safe temporal dye for when they’ll hatch, or for already grown up chickens I have but I’m unsure of which is the best to use. Please give me links to those online items I can buy which will be safe, temporal, not hurting them in any way? (please also do tell me when I could start dyeing chicks, I assume we shouldn’t do that in early ages) Thank you!

I just use food dye.

Some people use food dye to tell the difference between their chicks.

If you have no reason to do it then why do it at all? While it's unlikely to cause any issues such as chicks pecking at the dyed spots, no reason to increase the chance of it.
