Hello from NW Oregon!

The only poultry I currently care for are inanimate, but that is changing this year. I hope to obtain and hatch several varieties of heritage turkey eggs, and ideally end up with a couple pets. I do get to regularly fluff and hug the hens in my mother's flock. When I was younger we kept ducks, turkeys, and chickens, including a silkie rooster that became imprinted on me.

I fill my time with gardening, gaming (video and board), painting, reading, and watching all types of streaming materials with my DH. We have a cat, two crested geckos, and a miniature horse, who is my retired show horse.

I welcome questions, and would really enjoy making new friends on here.

Hello there, fellow Oregonian! Lovely weather we're having lately, huh.
I don't know much about turkeys either, but there's a dedicated forum to them:

Good luck getting your flock started!
