Do you have a cage for the roos or should I save a few boxes? How are you going to keep the dog from "snacking" on the way back?

I think I over did it today... But tomorrow I have nothing to do but work! Yay! And I gots a free sandwich coming for lunch!
I went shopping this morning, bout me 2, yes 2, of the biggest honey crisp apples. Just over a pound each! That is bigger than Fritz the jerk! Bet only Silver can boast of having a chicken smaller than an apple aside from me. Hehe... Wait, any one else have serema rats? I mean brats?

Kim does cause I gave it to her LOL Just a tiny tiny Serama pullet.

Morning Everyone!

It's a beautiful day in Oklahoma. A bit windy but that's kind of nice for a change. My girls were chickencursing me this morning because I didn't get out to open their door until 8:15 - about an hour later than usual. But sleeping in was really nice. The goaties were just hangin out. The only time they fuss is if one of the dogs walks down the lane with me. They think the world is ending and they are on the menu - LOL!

Two of my three sons are fussing at one another. All three play in an intermural softball team and oldest got mad (he's the coach) because the other one didn't catch a ball. They definitely have italian tempers (sorry to all italian friends out there but they are soooo like their father). If it continues I'll have to pull a guilt trip with the whole "I'm so disappointed. Brothers should not do this to one another, etc. etc). I try to stay out of all this but their wives have already called with pleas to intervene. Oh my gosh, it's only a GAME! I thought they outgrew this when they finished highschool. The thing is if something happened to one of them, the others would be there in a heartbeat to help.

The eggs are getting much bigger - whoo hoo. Pretty much gone are the little pullet eggs except for my EE who lays blue eggs. But she's the smallest of the flock so I think that's just her modus operendi - ha. What do you all think of the feeding tables shown on Resolutions' Winterizing thread? I don't know if they would be better or worse than the feeder sitting on bricks on the ground...

Hahaha I said he gets along with other pets (dogs and cats) I never said he gets along with birds. I have no clue about that one. He has never been around birds LOL. He kills rats also. My friend has an Australian Shepperd and that is the coolest dog I have ever seen. His name is Odie and all she has to say is " Odie, rat" and that dog is like a hurricane. I laugh so hard at him. She will give him a stuffed toy and say Odie, kill it and that dog will get it and shake the crap out of it lol.
