Fuzzy's Farm

LOL I just get the cheap timers from meijer or wallyworld. I can guarentdamntee that it will be worthless by the end of winter. All dust covered. I think though this year, I might wrap a baggy around it. I have the end of a power cord that comes into the top corner of the coop, 3 things can plug into it, so I'd be able to bag it with like, one of those gallone zipper bags... No dust! Protect my $3 investment. HEHE

Lol, ours is the $8 one. It works good, if you have the trippers. But I just realized I might as well by a new timer with three pairs of trippers for 8 instead of two pairs of trippers for 5............... Then I guess we have two timers.....even better.

LOL, I get a kick out of your dogs name. That just crack me up. Boom Boom. LOL

It looks like its going to be a do nothing day at this rate. I guess I could clean the house. I have been neglectful... The furnace is back on, so I guess I aught to dust. I mean, that explains why everything is coated... LOL. I need a new furnace filter too. I think I will get one with the fabreeze or something to kill off the dog in the house got wet smell. LOL

OK, for last night's egg dipping question. I will have to go back through my posts to dig up the original articles i posted, it took a lot of digging to find those and they are better. Here is what i found this morning though:

The second link shows several interesting things besides the egg dipping. You can do the same dip with denaguard, too, should you have it. If it were me, and i was really worried i'd spring for the denaguard because the better tylan is expensive too, but the denaguard only takes 1 Tb / gallon and is proven to be effective in killing the MG, wheras the tylan only helps them through. Both kill the MG from the egg, but not 100% of the time.

I free range my birds, so i can't be totally free from it with my older birds unless i vaccinate, (It's carried by wild birds) if i were able to cure them i would vaccinate. Expensive, but then i could sell free and clear without worry.

If you are free from it yet at this point, and are wanting to add to the flock, buying eggs and dipping is probably the safest method. You won't get as high a hatch, but they should be clear of disease.

I'm holding ok. It's stressful to be sure! There is nothing similar at all here to what i did before! I am scheduled to work alone on Fri.............ya.

I have to be careful about talking online about my job, it's highly frowned on! That's why i have gone radio silent about it. I guess the legislature is considering adopting a bill that bans mention of work places in online conversations, so it's best to be careful. :)

That is probably why Daron did so many eggs.

I know, isn't that something. I think though, that when govt tries to pass that law, they will be in violation of our freedoms of speech. I think that is one of the reasons I do not do face-book. You could have a perfectly innocent page, but one of your "FRIENDS" may not, and since they are linked, you are guilty by association. I do not think that is fair, but since our society is now doing so much communications on-line, putting private business out there for the whole world to see, companies are starting to look at THAT and deciding what kind of people they want to be at their factories, stores, businesses in general. It's kind of like a whole new caste system.
