Fuzzy's Farm

It angers me to no end when folks want them when they're cute & cuddly, but when it comes time to actually have to TAKE CARE OF THEM, they ditch them. But - at least this person is trying to find a good home. The WORST is when you find out people just turn them loose.

That is what angers me about Easter! Everyone buys the cute chicks, ducks and bunnies thinking the kids will love them. Then the ones that survive all the cuddling from little hands, end up as responsibilities and most people don't want that. Didn't realize they could be work and cut into the family budget. Duh, think impulse buying is a good idea. Not. The critters suffer. Stick to the poly stuffed ones. No fuse, no muse!

Ah, Just got back from dropping the boy and going and getting salad makings and did a naughty and hit starbucks in Meijer and got a peppermint hot coco and a blueberry scone... Hm...

Well, I am glad your girl is better there, Rusty. I'd have to say that I agree on the cook and clean up too.

About those ducks... I'd take them off her hands for no other reason than I have no problem walking out in the snow and taking care of my animals. I know how to use a snowblower to keep the path clear, and I know how to keep the pool with hot water once a day and refill every other. If they go back to their own coop at night, then what is the problem ya know? Just keep it draft free, lots of straw and pine shavings, and they'll do the rest. Hit the produce isle for marked down greens every few days, and they're happy happy happy! I really liked my naughty ducks, but I just couldn't eat the eggs. BUT the chickens can, and Jace can, he likes them. OH, and the migrants can. Had I known the migrants who come would want them, I may not have gotten rid of them to MommaK last spring. Well anyway... Cute is cute until the snow flies. Maybe they do not realise they don't really need to do anything but provide fresh water daily, like they do now, and feed, and clean coop and a big head dunking bucket... Idiots.

Good Morning!!
Morning BYFM , I usually put her in a puppy cut. Sometimes I let her hair grow and will trim for a show look I love her feathering. I find it take more time as I am picky as to how she looks. No stray hairs or tails. She is gorgeous but then comes spring and I cut so cooler for summer. Very heavy coated and grows fast. As a rule I tried to do her every 2 - 3 wks.

Glad Nugget is hanging in there and improving
I like the show cut!
The dogs that I groom would be a huge mess by the time they came back for another cut if I did a show cut on them
