Yep I agree. No cookie is safe! It did stop my asthma but geesh...took my last one this am so I'll get back to normal but what a week. At least I could breathe

I can't believe your parents didn't take you to the doctor for your shoulders BYFM. No wonder you have problems with them now.

That seems to be the case a lot of the time...
I love listening to some of the Rx commercials... sometimes the spend more time listing the side effects than talking about the benifits of the med...And I am all "WHO IN THE HECK WOULD TAKE THAT???"
May cause death... Hmmm... I could have a cold... or I could take this and have no more cold symptoms CAUSE I WOULD BE DEAD!!!

Well, it is quite something when you have KIDS stepping up to help in the disaster zone... This is a 12 yr old directing traffic. What a kid.

Anyway. Prednisone... My friend Susan who lost her leg early this year, is on it. She says it makes her swell up like balloon. Her face is really swollen from it. My ex SIL also was on pred for her lupus, thank God she is in remission now, but she is still getting back to normal from the effects of long term usage.

About finishing the plastic fence guard in the wind... WELL, when I was putting it up, the wind was coming out of the south. The plastic sheeting was already up, so, I was pretty blocked from the wind. AND since it was plastic fencing I was putting up, the wind just passes through it with out much problem. I also have it up on the east facing wall of the run. I am however thinking I am going to take Rusty's advice and put a wind hole in the top of the north facing so I don't have bottle wind trap effect... When I got home from work yesterday afternoon, when the wind really started picking up, and before the plastic fence when up, it had blown out the plastic on the east wall. I only had the top of it properly secure yet... Well anyway, it didn't blow out the west wall on the bottom, and I only had that one half secure, only down the sides, top and middle areas... Well anyway, going to cut a few holes, then duct tape those openings all the way around so they don't tear/rip.

The wind did send my flashes flying though. Oh well.

I need a shower. I have been heading for a shower since 7:30 this morning... I just haven't made it there.

Where the holy heck is everyone?

My youngest has been monopolizing the computer most the day. I got him started on jumpstart for 3-5 year olds. He's learning to use the mouse! Then he wanted netflix to watch rubbadubbers... He went from there to Dora, then Spiderman, Leapfrog... There is one thing that is cool about netflix. I tell it to go to kids instant programming, and that's all the little guy can choose from. Now I am wondering if I should have let him learn to use the mouse! LOL

It is just pet quality bantam cochin, but the lady I am getting him from was told its a boy... but, Its also 5 months old... We'll see. But it is so pretty even if it isn't SQ.

LOL, NO IT'S NOT! IT IS A ROO! LOL

I know, I was thinking hen also. Looks just like my black girl, only not black, but her comb and wattles are only a bit bigger than this ones. Scifisarah was told it was a cockerel. She is thinking its a hen also, but doesn't want to have her cuz she has a breeding program. She got her free along with another hen from Ohio. Anyway. I think she's lovely, and I think she'll be nice for Jace for clover bud in the spring.

Not much here going on tonight. Pooped. Had a girl quit this weekend, so i had no helper today.................Boy i earned my wages! So sore and pooped. DH bought me some adult "blackberry juice" and chocolate last night, gonna hit them. It is the cure for all evils, i'm convinced

On the oz thing, it bothers me because there were things i read in my health book years ago, told friends, long story short they laughed at me for believing everything i read..........(h pylori bacteria causing acid reflux, "ridiculous". zinc shortens colds, "boy what a sucker".........it goes on. ) But oz says it and it's golden!

I am glad that people are doing something about health, it just bugs me that my friends seemed to think i was such a quack, and now the type of reading i did back then is going public no one even remembers i tried to help! My mom still does it. I can tell her what she needs, nada. Oz says the same thing a week later and she runs out to get it! (magnesium) Grrr.

That's one of the things i like about you guys, you all seem to be well informed! So i am not only NOT seen as a "quack", i actually learn quite a bit too!
