My friends Dr told her the same thing. She quit, healed a lot faster. Then being who she is, started as soon as she was healed. Leg ulcers, foot ulcers. Diabetes... Think about it. You can quit long enough to save yourself worse problems down the road.

My mom and I didn't get along at all until I had my son. I realized just how hard she worked and how much we truely needed eachother. I think you got some good advice on your thread.
Holidays are always stressful when there is not enough $$ to go around.
I remember one day I spent an hour scrubbing the grout in between the tiles of the bathroom floor because it had started to turn yellow...WITH A TOOTHBRUSH. When my mom got home she blew a gasket over the counter not being wiped off. I ran to my room crying.
She later saw that the bathroom sparkled and apologized but I was already broken.

Now that I am older, I can see that my dad was little to no help. She needed me to watch my younger siblings so she could run her hair salon and keep our roof over our head.
She was pulled from every corner and had no down time unless we kids kept the house clean and took care of eachother.

Would I want to live with my mom again... probably not, but she is there for me when I need her.

This gal hasn't been named yet. And yes, I am pretty sure it is a gal (because I am in denial that it's a boy.) Her brother has a big red comb already. Well anyway, Roger (silkie) x Criptoe (NH)... Her brother is is the same black, but red through out, where as this gal has this really interesting silver lacing going on. Yes I am sure Criptoe is the mom. She wouldn't let anyone in her nest the day she decided to go broody, and then laid 2 of her own eggs. And Yes, I know they were hers, cuz I have 2 NHs and they are the only 2 who lay the BIG eggs.

I've seriously considered that but all I've got to go on is a feeling - not enough to even get DPS interested.
