yes, we started the party early here today

Not really a party, but don't gotta work tomorrow so definitely taking a much needed chill and enjoying myself I'm scared of the drunk drivers too, already seen cops wailing by more than once, so accidents already! We stay at home and off the roads, not as exciting but definitely safer!

I don't like New Years parties either. The last one I went to, I went when I was newly separated from the ex. He was not happy that I chose to spend my new year with friends, and not with his family. Um... Hello? LOL.SO, that was 8 years ago. Since then, I had a few kids... Now I'd rather stay here..

"natural dark auburn" which translates into a medium reddish brown. I tried it with other dyes, but even the light browns in a red-brown grab my hair, which ends up more flat brown than red, not a good look for me. Hopefully i don't turn out like the wendy's girl this time

Fancy makeup is the loreal magic base primer, i read good reviews on it and it's supposed to make your skin look matte and more smooth without foundation, which is a good thing because i can never find one that matches! And i work with hot steam, so anything that can smear color on my white shirt isn't good, lol. (uniform)
i think it does make a difference, subtle but the sheer pinkness of it kind of makes you more bright, while the rest of the formula mattefies your skin! It's supposed to make foundation stay better if you wear it. Perhaps next check, i give myself an allowance and it's safe to say it's been spent :O

Also purchased was the infallable eye shadow that comes in little pots, shimmery. I have bought the medium grey and the dark reddish brown and i like them! Need a base under them (i have issues with shadow staying put in general) They are half the darkness the color in the pot appears, very wearable.

x2 on being better, too many things went bad last year. Things are up and down now, i wanna work on "working pretty" ( as raz called the whole "dress to impress" the idea that "appearances count" in advancing the career) and saving $$$, get a girly pad ( i would gladly live in a glorified chicken coop if i could) and a house chicken ;D

Fuzzy, My oldest DD dyes her hair in a usually auburn color, but this last time she chose a chestnut color. Her hair turned out a darkish brown with a noticeably purple tint to it. Oddly enough, it really suited her! She's so artsy and creative that it just seemed right. LOL

Anyway, I made it to midnight with my party hat still on.

Happy New Year everyone.

I work tomorrow- so enjoying today- the last of a four-day off spree.

I am having serious rooster problems. honest- the boy never shuts up. And all of you live too far from me.

I never go out on New Years eve- me and the kids party it up here. They wouldnt let me fall asleep before Midnight- and I really wanted to. Now, everyone is sleeping (except Tiff- she had to be to work by eight), and I have done all the morning chores.
