Fuzzy's Farm

Hey fuzzy.

Got the cake made and decorated. Easiest cake ever, aside from going in the store and buying one. LOL

Went out to let the birds out and give fill the 3 gallon waterer Figured today would need a refill. To my surprise and chagrin, the darn light bulb had burned out. Water, frozen solid. The favs were the only ones to have water. Anyway, I moved the waterer over under the heat lamp and went ot get the kiddo form school. Well, I'll be a monkey's aunt if that heat lamp didn't make the plastic start to soften! Not kidding. It was at least 10 inches above the darn thing, and it was still hot enough to make the plastic soften. I went in the run to change the bulb in the waterer's heater, and I was smelling melting plastic.. What the... Yeah. LOL, poured some water over it to cool it off. Didn't melt all the way through, didn't crack it when i put cold water over it either. Well, anyway, 10 inches is not far enough away when it is an actual heat lamp!

On another note... FOUR EGGS! THATS BLOODY IT TODAY?! Not kidding. I got four stinking eggs today. Well, 5, the serema's egg doesn't count until there are 3. LOL. Not one egg from the favie girls today. NOT ONE! From 4! ALSO guess what I found on my pretty Loralie? Bumble.. Only it isn't on the bottom of the foot, it is on the top. I took her up and looked at it, It isn't inflamed hot around it, is not causing her problems walking, but it just happened to be right in my face when I went in the favie run. I am surprised I didn't notice it the other night when I caked her feet... Oh, no, I didn't have to do hers, just Beulahs, Sheh-Sheh, and Little Pretty... Anyway....

What a pisser of a day...

Nova, i was serious about giving you that dog bowl. Not gonna need it, would be a good backup! I love love love my stock tank de-icer! Keeps a huge water dish of water warm. If the other one failed i'd have to buy another similar. The dog dish wouldn't help me since i don't make it out there until afternoon..... I also still have that book i promised to give you, forgot to bring it the other day.

Well... I was denied my raise. They said they just couldn't do it and that they appreciated me asking for the minimum raise.
We as friends were very open about why we needed the money and how much "play" money there is left after bills.
Niether of us really has much.

I understand and they understand... so I hope we can still be friends when all is said and done. I have no idea what they are going to do for daycare now... especially with a new baby coming.

Now what am I going to do? I have to find a new job... That will make me more money... in a month.

Fuzzy... I wish I could take your girls so you could feel more at peace with your decision. I am happy that you are more independant now and becoming finacially secure as well. I know you will find something good!

Sorry about the raise but I am sure you will find what you need when you are looking !!!!

I have seen my sister on both sides of the sitter/ pregnant side of these kinds of things, and they have a way of working themselves out. She will have to find a family member to help her, you can't blame yourself and feel bad because she's pregnant. It's sad to be sure, but when looking at a thing like having a baby you have to consider all the aspects.

As far as you, keep hope! Now that spring is on the way and the old year/ work budgets are wrapped up hiring should pick up a bit! It should only take a couple weeks to get a check, and you might actually enjoy being out of the house for bits at a time! :)

Tee- glad you are feeling better. The flu kicked my behind, for sure. However I am doing pretty well now. Its a kind of flu that doesnt really want to leave. Random hot flashes accompanied by nausea.
Thanks, but apparently it wasn't done with me yet. Woke up this morning with my stomach hurting. Went to work and lasted 1 hour before I asked to go home. They don't mess with anything flu-like at my P.O. so before I said too much my supe pointed to the door and said 'go home'. So far no fever, but hot/cold, sore throat, tummy ache and nausea. Blah.

So now I've quarantined myself and have a heavy arsenal of hand sanitizer, wipes and spray. I refuse to do anything and my family has been told to treat me like I have the plague. I do not want to spread this crap.

My youngest loves puzzles, too. She got one of those 3d build it types for christmas and had it done in 12hours. It was a big ben model. She loves anything british. Glad he had a good birthday.
Now back to watching more senseless tv

Happy Birthday Aiden!!!

Tee- Glad you got to go home and rest.

I really don't know where I am going to work... Once DS can go to preschool I can go back to grooming but until then I will have to get a night job.
There are a few bars really close by... Did I mention I don't drive? So that really puts a damper on job options.
I could get a licence... just never have. I REALLY need to.

No one locked the chickens up last night

... I didn't realize until 6:30 this morning when I let the dog out. So I went out and locked them all up.
Yesterday I trimmed Pates head fluff up around his eyes. After, I put him back outside and could tell he was more confident in his running, and that he could see better! He still did not got up the ramp...
Now I have to back and let them out...

Neighbors have said they saw a coyote running around the neighborhood and they said it looks awful... It's got the mange. No hair on its tail at all.
That freaks me out a little.
