the wind is wicked!!! I thought for a moment it was all my dark thoughts and evilness conjuring up the Gods- but not if it is blowing over there, too..

Its snowing out here now. I hate snow.

I'm so sorry you are having all the problems with your really bad neighbors, Mom. I do love the country because we don't have anyone around. Closes is about a 1/4 mile so that's nice.

Wow, the weather sounds horrid. But I do wish we'd get some snow here.

We had our 3 year old's birthday party yesterday. It was a 'princess' party. They had talked one of their friends friends into dressing up as Cinderella and showing up to read stories and dance with the little girls. It was so cute. I'd made a dollhouse which I think she loved. Lots of fun and my pissy oldest son HAD to talk to me and be nice. He got mad when I told him I'd help him redo his bathroom but he had to help. He said he didn't have time -- like I do? geeesh.

My DD went for a little hike on our property and came across a lot of these guys. She has a pretty good zoom feature on her phone and it takes great pictures.

She also spotted this guy up in a tree. He better stay there.

Goodness. Wind cut right through me, even in the camper it was terrible cold! Tried to scrape some frozen turds for a while but gave up. Gave out some cheerios mom sent along with me and called it a night; staying here at DH's apartment tonight to have an easier drive tomorrow! Supposed to be pure ice, i know that it's not gonna be a fun drive at 5 am!

I think you'll be ok drving fuzzy. The temps are too low for any melt to occur to make ice... Just drive careful. Supposed to be much much colder tomorrow too. Got out my big snow pants... orange camo. LOL. gonna work on adding afew more wooden supports tomorrow...

Got my taxes almost finished. Well, up to the send them in part. I went through all my back bank statement to get totals for the one job. Only I am afraid to send in until I know for sure if it is 1 return with them, or two since they changed the name of their company, and we still haven't gotten out returns from them yet. BUT, at the moment, looking at enough to pay this years property taxes. WOOT! I love that. I use one tax return to pay property. Works out well that way I think. LOL

Anyway... I made the faverolles sleep in the coop tonight instead of the run. The only way I can get them to stay in there is by putting the heat lamp just near their door. They don't like to go by it to get out. LOL Oh well. i worry now about those hoops not holding up to a heavy snow... SO, until I get more braces in, not going to let them sleep in that run. Going to take down their roost in there too. LOL. Thanks herducks for getting me all paranoid now.

have a good night. hope the kid has school tomorrow. LOL. its a half day for them, but its a half day of peace and quiet!
