Robin, I kind of understand how you feel about that. LOL

My DH has his moments, but he far outweighs my ex-h. I went into that marriage completely ignorant and came out the same with the added benny of extreme low self esteem. That man tore me apart and dropped me so low I thought I'd never hit bottom and bounce back up. It took time and a lot of learning to get back to okay. I think that's why I've been so shy about actually marrying current DH. We've been together for 8 years and are only engaged really and have been for almost 6 years which is why I call him DH because he pretty much is. I will say, though, that I never blossomed until I met him and his you can do anything attitude. I learned how to garden, cook, and so much more. And I never would have had chickens, pigs or goats at all if he hadn't brought them into my world. So even with his moments, I know we work well together and I wouldn't trade him in.

DHs, aside, I do think this group has a lot of strong, smart ladies and I'm glad to know each of you.
And Bobbry, congrats on the golden feather.

I am glad to know you also tee and IF I EVER find one that isn't worthless then I will keep him lol.

mix some honey and some lemon together, give her a couple spoonfuls of that.
If not go to the drug store and buy cepacol throat spray. Its a very small can. It numbs the throat. Different than regular throat spay.

Find out a way that Dink cannot have a sheep. I dont care if he bottles a baby, but I cant have a sheep. he is insane. And he thought they were goats.

So, I was very good today: did my chores, school, cleaned the room, even did extra stuff, just to be nice and help out. Things were going so well. Mom and I hadn't argued all day, I had done my school perfectly (which makes her very happy, BTW), and she and I were besties at the moment. But, then, I pull out my computer. I want to get on BYC, as a break from school, since I was done. I have some PMs. I want to read them, but my brother is behind me. He is pretending to be playing with the dog, but I can see right through that: he keeps looking at the computer, craning his neck to see it. Well, I say "Tim, go away." and he says "Why? Are you looking at something you shouldn't?" Well, of course he knows I'm not: It's freakin' BYC, for crying out loud!!!

But, or course, what does he say?!?!?! "Mooooo-ooommm! Hannah's looking at something she shouldn't!" I said, only because I was utterly ticked off "NO I"M NOT, TIM YOU STUPID IDIOT!", and thus, mom needs to lecture me about not shooting off my mouth. But...seriously?! Tim was lying! About me! Now, mom is thinking about telling dad I don't need Internet. Now, of course I know dad won't take it away from me, but it does screw up me and his relationship: dad and I are the only 2 people in the house who are so much alike that we can't find faults in each other.

GREAT! Thanks, Tim, for screwing up my life, you stupid freakin' idiot!

So sorry to rant. Ignore it if you like, otherwise, words of comfort are so appreciated, as I realize that my mom is not going to listen to my self-defense.

Next time your brother tries lying about you, remain calm. say, "
no im not" and then when your mom comes in- show her what you are on and tell her that you didnt want him to read your private messages. Fight avoided.

Thanks, Kim. He's been doing this a lot lately. He's jealous because I have Internet and he doesn't, but that's his own fault. When Tim had Internet, all he did was play games, and eventually he played games that weren't free. So, no more Internet. Dad let me have Internet because he says he trusts me. Mom, however, does not agree, so she, too, is doing all she can to try and actually get it away from me. It sucks to have my own mom working against me.
