I've used it, Nova. Had some wheezy 2 mo olds. It seemed to help. I also used it on our baby goat when he had pneumonia but the vet said she preferred not to use it but I was too wrapped up in trying to keep him alive to ask her why she didn't like it. I think it's a case of try it if you have nothing else. This is my first time using the VetRx... Has anyone else tried it?
Awww sorry NOVAAll this talk of pie... Yum. Made me buy the stuff I needed to make one this morning after I dropped off my boy. I expect my niece here in an hour...
Bad news... though...
Opened the coops to a dead pullet. i didn't even know anything was wrong with this one. I have a SLW that has been under the weather, and even the vet visit gave no answer. Anyway, this was one of the GLWxMr.Fuffers chicks. She would have been about 11 weeks now. To look at her though, I guess she really hasn't grown. I never even though about it being odd that she was still so little. She ate good, feathered out wonderfully. She was my Little Pretty. Always loved a cuddle and would stay in my arm and not want to get off. Roger was the only one who ever picked on her... Oh well. Totally blows. Her sister is 2 weeks older, and 3 times her size...
You remember this one right Fuzzy? She never grew any bigger from the time you saw her. She did feather out a bunch more. Had a very thick layer of fuzzy feathers. She was still warm when I found her, so I did check for bugs again. I check them alot. Nothing... I am guessing failure to thrive... I will necropsy later to check for worms... get the burn barrel going.
