sorry, that sucks. Take it easy.

whatever I have is kicking my butt over here. can't breathe, don't want to cough because it hurts too much, low grade fever most of the day and ache ache ache. Not going to work tomorrow, not that they want me there like this anyway.

Tossed together a chicken tortilla soup in the crock pot this morning. I'm hoping the spice and chicken-ess of it help me out.

sounds like you have the flu again. I am seriously stuffed now too. BUT I think part of that is from puking my guts out. There is nothing like gall bladder pain. You think labor is hell until they shove a needle in your back and you are in a state of bliss until two days later and your legs from your knees to your toes swell you so bad you can't even put on regular shoes and its the middle of winter and you have to go to work, and I am getting off track... I hate gall bladder pukes They are worse than food poisoning pukes...

I want to have some spicy torilla soup... only I don't know that I could handle it... Glad you dont' have to work tomorrow. I don't either. I do need to go and lock up the birds though.

My mom is coming for Easter. So is my sister who moved to WA. She's in Bremerton. No, she doesn't have chickens. She's too chicken. LOL. BUT we are having lasagna. I might not be.. Depends how the gall bladder goes. I could make a big wedding soup...

I hear ducks going nuts outside. You wouldn't believe the mallards we have here right now. They are loving the fields.

Gonna go lock up. Go to bed. OH, Beulah is on 7 eggs. She wasn't happy when I took them out and marked them. BUT she shoved them back under her as soon as I handed them back. What is in the water here? Does anyone need some?

Yulk... Everyone is sick and/ or not feeling good!
Feel better already, will ya?!!!!

My red-headed aunt showed up this morning. Of course the day I have to do some running around she has to rear her ugly head.

Took the pup to get fixed today. Picked her up at 5:30 and haven't heard a peep out of her since. Poor girl. I know how it feels to be sliced from stem to stern. She just wants to sleep and rest.... I am glad she isn't jumping around like the crazy girl she normally is.

Oh, I remember gall bladder pain/pukes. Had mine out in '08 and still remember every bit of it. I would never wish that on anyone.

The soup turned out good, but not sure it was a wise thing to make it spicy. Please stomach, don't turn on me now.

Well, I might have to put my Florus down. I just found him in the broody coop, on his side and his head at a cocked angle. He can't hold it up straight. He is not struggling to fight me either. I have a feeling that he got cornered in there by Rod Stewart and Rod Stewart kicke his butt. There is a low roost in there, and I am thinking he may have sustained a neck injury getting cornered under it. I have him in the house. I got him on a towel in a big box. He isn't trying to move. His head will either be laying on the side, on the towel, or he's got it comb down on the bottom of the box. I know this is not wry neck. He's going on a year old, and this is sudden. Not a little bit at a time. He was out side today, I let them all out. I let them all out yesterday too, and there was not a problems. He and his girls stayed clear of Rod and his... UGH! I feel so bad... If Rod Stewart wasn't such a good boy to the girls and to me and the kids... I hope Florus pulls through...

Have hope, Nova. We have a leghorn that was attacked last year (we think it was a jr coon- found him in the coop and barn all the time). Anyway, when my DD found her she couldn't hold her head up at all. Just lolled to the side, eyes dilating madly. DD had to hold her just so to keep her head up and guide her to the food so she could eat. We all thought she was a goner, but she pulled through. It took a good week or so, but she's fine now.

Hope Florus bounces back.
